Spain & Portugal.....

I have finally got around to posting pics of our trip to Spain and Portugal in May!. We had a fantastic time it really reminded of the Spain we used to visit when I was a kid. We stayed at my Auntie's finca/cottage which was really cute and in the middle of nowhere, the closest village was 10 minutes and when I say village I mean 2 restaurants 1 bakery and 1 store and houses and that's about it. It was really close to the border of Portugal (about 10 min drive and 5 min boat trip) Most days we hopped from one to the other eating plenty of tapas and grilled sardines and the odd beer or two. Gabi loved the trip and just fitted right on in with the laid back lifestyle. Warning if you are not family you may be seriously bored by the amount of pics to follow....sorry! This is at the end of my Aunties road.

Gabi and Kevin playing football/soccer in a plaza. Gabi plays football but still likes to be girly she picked the red ball to match her skirt :O).

Waiting for the little boat to Portugal.
My little Senorita.
Watching people dance at a sardine festival in Portugal, before joining in later.

Heading out for dinner.

Some streets were so narrow that when you drove down them both you and the car coming the other way had to pull in the wing mirrors so you could pass each other.
We spent a couple of days in Seville (I loved it and it's where I want to live).
Gabi and Kevin walking through Seville University, I want to take this exact picture in 15 years when she is starting her first day there.
Cutie pie.
Orange trees growing on the city streets....amazing.

Seville at night.
We flew in and out of Lisbon airport so we decided to spend a few days there at the end of the trip.
We saw lots of old castles in Spain and Portugal, so many beautiful buildings....such a feast for your eyes.
My doll checking out the buildings in Lisbon.

What an amazing trip, I can't wait to go back, Spain is in my heart.

Gabi's New York....

I have a million pics of New York I have taken over the years so today I gave Gabi the crappy little camera to take with us......she started out taken pics of everything and then had enough and then picked it back up later in the day. First pic...a graveyard! A subway stop.
I love this one.
We went to The Native American Indian Museum, they were doing some singing and dancing.
This used to be a fountain outside the World Trade Centre, it now sits in Bowling Green park.

Waiting for the subway.
We had lunch in Chinatown and ice cream in Little Italy, headed up to midtown and then on to The South Street Seaport, Gabi didn't feel like taking pics then.
In the car on the way home.
There were about 35 of these pics :o) she always does this....so funny.

Pedicure, lunch and shopping......

I have been such a blog slacker lately....sorry will try to catch up in the next week or so!! Anyway a few weeks ago it was Gabi's friend's birthday and she wanted to go for her first pedicure and she asked Gabi to go with her...how cute is that?? The girls loved it, nothing like being pampered 3 & 4 year olds. How funny Gabi got her first pedicure before me, yes that's right people I have never had a pedicure and never will either, I like to do my own. I was surprised at just how much she loved it.
Neon orange was what they picked....so cute for summer toes!
Four little pedicured feet, adorable!
On to meet the others for lunch, what a tough life....
Stopping now and then for hugs.
Taking time to smell the flowers.
Hanging out in the fitting rooms whilst shopping.
Being pampered sure is tiring.
Back for a final play with the flowers.......happy days and happy girls.
