Nursery school.

Today I took Gabi to look at two nursery schools and I am trying to decide which one to send her to and trying not to base it on the fact that one only has afternoon classes left. I felt comfortable with both, Gabi was dying to go and play but also made sure I was there....I think she will be fine, I on the other hand will be a wreck and it's only twice a week for 2 1/2 hours and it's not until September!!!!

I hope it's just a phase.....

We are now referred to as Mom & Dad!!!!!! OMG it's like she's twelve already.

This had better be something she's heard and gets over quickly, it's already going faster than I want. I'm hopeful after all we made it through the.. "Why", the "No way" and the "What's the big idea" phase so fingers crossed!!

Little Frida???

I LOVE Frida Kahlo, I think she is one of the most interesting, amazing, extraordinary women I have ever heard or read about, I am fascinated by her story, I think she was so born before her time, What a woman!! Anyway I added a few extra flowers to Gabi's hair for a little Frida look!! I love how the pics came out. (If you've never heard of Frida Kahlo you should google her, she was a Mexican artist). I'm so happy that Gabi will just play along with my madness!

My water baby!

Earlier in the week we got out Gabi's sand/water table, this table is used for water play in spring/summer and then I fill it with beans and lentils in autumn. This time Gabi found another use for it......a water bath, once she discovered she could sit in she climbed in..out..in..out..in..out for the rest of the afternoon. Fun!Little miss sassy!

Every year I get the first daffodils from our garden, used to be Kevin, and the last two years Gabi's picked them for me and I LOVE IT!!

Easter fun!

Yesterday we had a little Easter party for Gabi's friends. The kids had a blast with a little Easter egg hunt and lots of playing and eating. Here is Gabi excitedly waiting for her friends to arrive. And their off!
