Gymnastics fun!

I signed Gabi up for gymnastics class with her girlfriends, we had a free class last week to see how they would do and they all loved it. It's funny you never know how they will react, we have been going to storytime at the library since last year and it's only now that they are leaving our laps and joining the other kids on the mat, so I did'nt want to sign her up if she would'nt move. Ok girls are we ready for class??
Let's go (it's so cute they just naturally hold each others hands when they walk)

And kisses.
Reading a book while waiting to go in.
Still waiting.
Trampolining is so fun, Gabi is so into jumping at the moment so this was heaven for her.
More air time.
Reading for rolling.

Stronger than I thought, she loved the rings.
Back flip was her favorite and she loves doing it at home too.
Go Gabi!
More trampolining. We are trying to find leotards for the girls but can't find any in their sizes yet.

Build a Bear birthday party.

A couple of weeks ago Gabi went to her friend Mackenzie's birthday party at the Build a Bear workshop. This was Gabi's first time there and she had a lot of fun and pretty much joined in everything, she used to stick to me like glue in any social settings but know she is quite the social butterfly. Gabi with her girlfriends (I guess she didn't get the memo about the white dress!)
So cute holding hands.
Getting her bear stuffed.
Bathing the bear.
Loving Brady.
She picked a soccer outfit....yes!!!
At the end you have to put the bear on your head and sing 'take me home' easy for Gabi she often carries things on her head.
Group shot...so cute.

Favorites.....

So I can one day look back and remember what my two year old Gabi liked to do....

Favorite things to eat are: cheese, blueberries, edamame beans, hummus and chicken (and of course any snack or dessert she can get her hands on but those are the obvious ones). Little miss sorter, this is Gabi's treasure she will sort everything into piles by either shape, color or size and she just loves anything little and shiny. (Little magpie)
Little mama to her bear bears, I love to watch her imagination as she takes care of her stuffed toys, the only ones she likes are her bear bears and any of her stuffed puppies!
I saw these bottles on some one's blog a while back and I forget what the idea was for them but Gabi has been carrying these around for weeks and whenever I see them they are always lined up, cheap and hours of fun. Perfect!
I.m not sure what this game was.
Gabi stacked these erasers and said 'look Mama, cinco', there were more than five but I love that she's using Spanish numbers too!
This book is so funny, the concept is that the driver of the bus leaves you in charge of the bus for a while and you are not aloud to let the pigeon drive the bus, the pigeon tries lots of ways to persuade you and you just keep saying no.......Gabi loves the part when the pigeon says 'I'll give you five bucks' and 'I'll be your best friend' but she always says yes when he says "I bet your Mom would let me' .
Glue is the new black........I just give her a bottle of glue and some craft stuff and she loves it.
One of Gabi's glue creations. A new dilemma, not only do I have a hard time ever deleting a photo of Gabi, even after it's downloaded, now I have all these pictures and craft stuff that I don't seem to be able to throw away!!
Thank goodness for paint, play dough, crayons, markers etc hours of fun in this house.

I filled Gabi's sand/water table with different dried beans and lentils, it's great for textures no mess and lots of fun, no one can resist running their fingers through the beans.

Here are a couple of my recent favorite pics of my little dolly who always looks so serious when she's not smiling.

Beach baby beach baby...

We finally took Gabi to the beach for the first time, she's been to the boardwalks and rides at a couple of beaches but this was her first real beach time, she loved it!! We went in the afternoon when it was cooling down a bit and it was beautiful. Gabi absolutely loved playing in the sand, she was a little nervous of the sea at first which is not a bad thing. Checking out the ocean with Mama.
Looking for shells and smooth stones.
Gazing at the ocean.
Pointing to seagulls which she did not like.
Going to fill her bucket with water.
I love this one of us.
Getting her feet wet.
Being buried in sand.
And loving it!!

Daddy making a boat.
Loving that Daddy took the afternoon of work to come to the beach!
