Pool fun!!!!

We are enjoying our new pool this year, and I finally figured out what to put on Gabi...a swimsuit with floaties and armbands/floaties, this gives her all the confidence she needs and now she is like a little fish.

Orange is the color....

of the day, although Gabi refers to everything as green or purple! I love how these pics came out.

Gabi's favorite thing to do these days is be 'Mama's little helper' here she is helping make brownies. Gabi's rules with making brownies....pour in water & oil
add the mixture....
throw in an egg....
give it a mix......
lick whatever you can get your hands on.....

tastes soooo good..
be proud of yourself....


and charm everyone in sight.

Muffin tin Monday

My friend Katie Mohr (thanks Katie) recommend a great blog www.chasingcheerios.blogspot.com and from there I blog hopped and found www.sycamorestirrings.blogspot.com where they do this muffin tin Monday. What a great idea, so today start5s our first MTM. Starting from top left, chicken..blueberries...tomatoes...hummus...foam hearts just because...chopped apricots...wheat thins...peas...goldfish...edamame beans...boiled egg...apple slices.

Learning colors

Today is brought to you by the color PINK!! We are working on learning colors at the moment, sometimes I think Gabi has a mental block with colors, some days she knows them, and other days not so much!Think pink!

Meet Precious!

UPDATE! Poor baby precious, he went to be with the birds up in the sky :o(



Is this not the most pathetically cute thing you have ever seen? I found it's nest on the floor this morning it was in the sun and barely breathing it's little neck was bent and he was seconds from death. Poor baby! I put some water on his beak and he responded a little then I soaked some bread and wiped it around it's mouth, I put the nest back and left it...I went back a couple of hours later and he looked so much better :o)

Such a young baby, hardly a bit of fluff to cover him!

Gabi hand feeding him some bread, she was so tender and concerned..she also kept talking to the bird and introducing us both by putting her hand on her chest and saying 'Gabi' and pointing to me and saying 'Mama'. Soooo cute!

Yep, Gabi's latest source of entertainment is the air conditioning vents in our house, they are the one's that shoot cold air up out of the floor. If you stand over them in a skirt or a dress it is, apparently, very funny! Marilyn Monroe eat your heart out :o)
