2 year check up.

Gabi went for her 2 year wellness visit on Wednesday, she is right on track! The Dr said she did'nt need to ask many questions about Gabi's development because Gabi just sat and chatted with her so well, she said 'Hi Dr Potasis". I was so proud she followed all the instructions and for the first time no tears......until her shot but even then is was for a second or so. Gabi is a little charmer and everyone falls in love with her wherever we go.

Current weight 24lbs and height 32 inches. Perfect!

I just learned that if you draft a post for your blog and then return to it in a week or so and edit and post it, it automatically slots into the date you saved it instead of it being a new post. Am I making sense here??

Our 2 year old....

Yesterday was Gabi's 2nd birthday..........oh how the time flies. I miss the baby she was and love the toddler she is. This age is so much fun. We took Gabi to Six Flags for her birthday so she could just spend the day with just us, we had a great time (it was our first time their too) after we went to the little safari park they have next door where Gabi crashed out in the car. We decided to buy season tickets to the park so we hope to go back often! Gabi got this slide for her birthday and was sooo excited about it, today she sat on the seat part for over an hour pushing cards through the slot and looking at her cards! Funny girl.

Gabi just recently discovered the Wiggles, so riding in the big red car was a big deal.

When we were up in the air the more I spun this the more Gabi cracked up.

This ride made me scream it goes quite high for a kids ride and I kept getting jolted and squishing Gabi the more I screamed the more she hysterically laughed.

A fun day. By the end of the day Gabi was singing 'happy birthday to you' to herself.

So a couple of days ago me and Gabi took Kiki to petsmart for a haircut, the last time she went was about 3 months ago so maybe Gabi did'nt pay much attention last time but....this time she cried so hard like her little heart was breaking she could'nt understand why we were leaving Kiki behind, I felt so bad I was trying to explain why, but she looked so worried and sad, finally I promised to take her to get pretzels at the mall, this cheered her up a bit but she still mentioned Kiki a lot.

About 3 hours later they called to say Kiki was ready so we excitedly droe to get her, then when you go back to pick them up they give you the reciept to go pay at the register first and then you get your dog, we had to leave again without Kiki! more tears followed, finally we went back to get Kiki and Gabi was so excited to see her best friend and all afternoon she kept kissing Kiki and telling her she loved her.
