Back to the farm

I took Gabi to the little farm by our house, they come for a month in October and May. Gabi really enjoyed it this time because she knows her animals now, so luckily there were no more goat kicking incidents! Gabi went up to all the animals and said 'ello pig', 'ello goat' etc in her lovely cave girl voice :o) Question: Who do you think had the most fun, Gabi?

In the car on the way home I look in the rear view mirror to see that Gabi found a great place for her sticker!

First haircut

I took Gabi for her first official haircut yesterday (I have been hacking away at her bangs for months). I am letting the bangs grow out and just asked for a tiny amount of the bottom just to even it out. Gabi is such an observer she just sat and watched herself.

That's right, I'm calling it in early......David Cook. I hope he wins, I have actually voted for him, the last and only ever time I voted was for Chris Daughtry.

I think David Archuletta is really cute and has a fantastic voice, ideally I would like to adopt him :o) but I think David Cook is the best.

This is the first Idol final where both the contestants are really talented.

Welcome little one......

We are proud to introduce our new Nephew, and Gabi's cousin........his name is still to be determined, they had a name picked out and decided he did'nt look like that name. Bless! For now I am calling him 'little peanut'.

Here he is weighing in at only 4lb 11oz. Mum Dad and big Brother Connor are all home and doing well. We love and miss you guys.

So for Mother's Day Gabi got me this great pool lounger (we are putting in a pool and it should be ready in a couple of weeks...can't wait!) anyway we had the most fun with the box, and we used the lounger as a boat then a great little house.

One year ago today.....

After spending more than five fantastic months in Guatemala fostering Gabi we finally got to come home. It has been an amazing year that has passed so quickly.....although it feels like a lifetime ago that we left Guatemala. Happy days!

She takes my breath away.....

I wanted to see if Gabi's little mayan outfit still fit her.....to see her in this outfit knocks my socks off. I just love this kid more than I could have imagined.
