Easter fun!

We've had a lot of fun the last couple of days with Gabi. Holidays have a whole new meaning when you have kids. Here's Gabi taking Daddy to see if the easter bunny has been? I think he has....
Yippee!!!!!
I like this easter bunny thing..
You mean this is made of chocolate and it's all mine?
I wanted to do a little easter egg hunt for Gabi in the garden but I was running a bit late and some friend of Kevin's had a boat stored in one of our basements so they were dealing with that out there so I decided to throw (not literally.....well sort of) some plastic eggs out on the deck for Gabi and she loved collecting them. Next year I have to get a basket that's actually smaller than Gabi, she could hardly carry it! Gabi hated wearing her easter dress she kept pulling on it and saying off. I guess like me she's just not a dress kind of girl.
A little easter basket from auntie Christine with treasures inside.
Putting the eggs in the basket.

Ohh you mean there's more chocolate in these little eggs too! Fantastic!
We made easter cupcakes the other day it was very hard for her to put the toppings on the eggs and not in her mouth.

I told her she could have a cupcake when we finished the decorating, that speeded things up a bit.

Yummy yummy!
Ok I'm done.
The final product!
After the egg hunt we went to see Sesame Street Live with some friends. You never know how kids will be but Gabi is usually good in any situation. She was so ready, we got there about 15 mins before the show and she shouted "Elmo" every minute or two.

From the second the show started until it finished Gabi was fasinated. We were eight rows from the front so we had a great view. Gabi danced, clapped and sang all through the show she also squeeled "Elmo" every single time she saw him(which was alot) too funny!

If your thinking of going to the show I would really recommed it. Fun fun fun.

Feliz Semana Santa!

Well this time last year we were lucky enough to be in Antigua, Guatemala for Semana Santa, it has to be one of the most memorable weeks of our life, I can still smell and taste the incense in my mind. The brightly decorated beautiful carpets made with such love and honor. People carry heavy floats around in hot weather for hours and it is also an honor. We were lucky to be able to help make a carpet with the family who owned Hotel Casa Ovalle where I spent 5 months with Gabi. It is one of the loudest, busiest and brighest Easters of my life and hands down the best. I miss Guatemala!! This year the noise may be as loud and their will be bright colors but there will be no carpets just Elmo, Grover and all the other's from Sesame street live!! Here are just a few of our hundreds of pics of Holy Week! Enjoy.

Playmates....

Gabi had a little playdate today with her friends Mackenzie & Brady they are such sweet kids and they all play well together. Mackenzie will be 3 in August, Gabi 2 in June and Brady is 13 months old and they are all pratically the same size. Too cute.
Girlfriends

Not much food misses Gabi's mouth.
How cute are they.

The girls taking their diapers to the garbage.

Gabi played in my ironing basket for over an hour yesterday and she still wanted to play more, Kiki on the other hand lasted about 5 minutes.
