Karl and Amy..

This post is beyond overdue, back in the Fall Kevin's Son Karl came to visit with his girlfriend Amy, this was the first time we had met her. Amy was really sweet and just so nice and quiet (that's quite a novelty around here). It was fun having them both come and stay and we hope they come back soon. Here they are on Gabi's swing set that our neighbours gave her. Aren't they cute!

My interview with Gabi.

Gabi's Christmas show.

Gabi's school had their little Christmas show today, it was the cutest thing ever! I didn't know if Gabi would sing or not, she just kept telling me to wait and see what songs they would be singing. So proud of my little reindeer.

Gingerbread house.

This is the second year I did a gingerbread house with Gabi, we both have about 30 minutes of patience for this project......here's how Gabi likes to do it. Start out neat putting on the candy. Be cute for a pic.

Position leg for better concentration.

Have as many hits of frosting as you can.

3 1/2 years old.

Man where has the time gone? 3 1/2 already it just seems like yesterday.... . Yesterday you had the flu shot and you were so brave and didn't cry, you told the Doctor you wanted to be brave...such a big girl. You now are 35 3/4 inches tall (you grew 1 1/2 inches since July) and you weigh 29 1/2 lb and you are perfect. You are a maniac with a fantastic sense of humor, you laugh out loud if anyone bumps into something, I spend alot of my day walking into things for your benefit. You are kind and so very loving, you love to snuggle with me and Daddy. You tell us a million times a day that you love us.

Another thing you love to do is cling to my legs when I'm walking around the house so you can be dragged around the wood floors. You are trying your best to learn how to hop and you really love playing hopscotch on the tiles.

You are a good friend and always hug your friends when you see them. You are very rarely frazzled and can be talked out of naughty behavior pretty easily, that's not to say you can't be stubborn when you want to be but not often. You talk non stop from morning til night and you have such a beautiful way with words, you are so smart and articulate (you don't get that from me, that's for sure). You always say you don't want to go to school because you will miss me to much but you always have fun. You are the light of our life and our pride and joy. We love you you little ding dong!

She picked a pickle.....

We were in the store a couple of days ago, I told Gabi she could pick out a new decoration for her tree, this is what she picked.........yep a pickle!! Gabi has never seen or tried a pickle but she loved it! I didn't try to change her mind I wanted it to be her choice. Here it is hanging in all it's glory!

Nothing like a big green pickle on a child's Christmas tree...oh Gabi you crack me up.
